Presentation Description:

When people search for information online in the search engines (Google, Bing or the like), they go about it by typing in what we’re looking for into the search box. This is known as a keyword phrase. In order for your site to show up on the list of results, search engines use algorithms to determine relevance. When your website is optimized for search, it means you are showing up in the top ranking for a specific keyword phrase. To understand the purpose of SEO, it helps to understand how your site fits into the overall picture. This presentation will provide information on what SEO really is and why people who have websites need to care. During this presentation you will learn at least 12 tips you yourself can implement to help increase traffic to your website. You'll learn what factors affect your ranking and how to make improvements.
