As Professional Organizers and Productivity Consultants, it's important to be aware of many different techniques, theories, and tools for use in our own work and when assisting clients.  In this presentation, two of your NAPO Colleagues share a few of their favorite tips and techniques for time and email management.

Presentation Goals:

  • Provide options for time and email management that Professional Organizers and Productivity Consultants can us in their own work and when assisting clients.
  • Understand that all clients are different- they have different needs and personalities- what works for one may not work for another.  It is important to have various tools to present as options.
  • Understand that not all Professional Organizers and Productivity Consultants are the same and that's ok.  We have out own ways of assisting clients and presenting information.  What is important is to find what resonates with you, and your clients.


Presenter Information:

Lori Vande Krol founded Life Made Simple, LLC in 2005. As a certified productivity consultant, Lori helps individuals and businesses implement and maintain systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Using a unique 5-step process, she works with busy professionals and growing businesses to determine customized solutions to their specific challenges. After receiving a BS in Mathematics from Iowa State University, Lori worked 13 years as an Actuary and Risk Manager in a Fortune 500 company. She lives in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband and three busy daughters. Lori is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and serves on its Board as a Professional Member Director. She is a member of Iowa Professional Organizers and Faithful Organizers, and is the only Certified Productive Environment Specialist (CPES) in Iowa.

Lisa Mark is a certified professional organizer and owner of The Time Butler, founded in 2004. She and her team specialize in time management and productivity, information and office organizing, large spaces -- garages, attics, basements and storage units, and working with clients with traumatic injury or illness. Lisa and her colleague developed a class, Organizing for Traumatic Illness, to train organizers interested in working with the traumatic illness population. She is a two-term past treasurer of her local Chapter, NAPO-SFBA, and is currently serving a three-year term as treasurer of NAPO National. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two traveling daughters, and a neurotic cat.
