Presentation Description:

Through an engaging presentation, I will present proven techniques that will alleviate a common fear, "how can I organize someone's photos, when my own photos are disorganized?".   

This presentation will focus on printed photos including estimating a job, finding clients, the ABC's of photo organizing, scanning and backup solutions. 

Presentation Goals:

Participants will recognize the challenges their customers face and learn the solutions to assist their clients with:

1. A lifetime of printed photos in shoe boxes, drawers and deteriorating photo albums.

2. Proven solutions developed by the photo organizers in estimating a job.

3. An understanding of the ABC'S of photo organizing, a method developed by Cathi Nelson, founder of APPO.

4. Additional revenue opportunities such as digitizing a photo collection.

Presenter Information:

Cathi Nelson is the founder of APPO (Association of Personal Photo Organizers), an organization dedicated to helping individuals build successful photo preservation and organizing businesses.   Under Cathi’s leadership, APPO provides skill based and technical training, professional development and networking opportunities to thousands of professional and amateur Photo Organizers from around the globe.    Regarded as a pioneer in the photo organizing industry, Cathi is a sought after industry speaker and has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, The Atlantic and Better Homes and Gardens. She is also serves on the board of Directors for The Imaging Alliance and Fotobridge. She brings 25 years of corporate sales and advertising expertise to the members she serves and holds a certificate in Women’s Leadership from the Hartford Seminary, a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies – Humanities from Wesleyan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from UConn.
