Presentation Description:

Whether you're new to the organizing profession or a seasoned veteran, we all run into difficult clients and agonize over dealing with them appropriately. Identifying, setting, and maintaining clear boundaries is key. We'll walk through several case studies and attendees will participate in how they have or would handle the situation. I'll reveal how I handled each situation, discussing what was right, what was wrong, and what someone could do better if they run into the same situation. The session will be interactive so make sure to attend it live!

Presentation Goals:

-Identify, set, and maintain clear boundaries for all clients

-Learn to recognize difficult clients in advance

-What to do once you've begun working with a client and you now realize it's no longer a good fit

Walk away feeling more confident in your ability to handle any client relationship and enforce your boundaries.

Lauren Mang is passionate about people and was born to help others get organized! After spending nearly a decade in the Fine Arts industry and moves from New York to London, Los Angeles to San Francisco, Lauren apprenticed with an organizer in LA and discovered she could turn this natural talent into a successful business. When she’s not writing her kids' book series on organizing, speaking at the NAPO Conference, or working with clients, she’s volunteering for NAPO as the Holistic SIG co-leader and a member of the POINT Committee.
