President's Message

Hi everyone!

It's that time again. You will be asked to vote on the next NAPO Virtual Chapter board during the monthly chapter meeting on March 9. We are very pleased to have a member for each board spot and they are all highly qualified and excited to be part of the chapter leadership. Here are the board members to be voted on:

  • Jane Cole, President
  • Brogan Farren, Vice President
  • Elva Fonseca, Director of Technology
  • Suzann Brown, Director of Marketing
  • Lea Gallagher, Director of Membership
  • Alexis Boccanfuso, Treasurer
  • Nancy Rivera, Secretary
  • Lisa Witzleben, Director of Professional Development
  • Kristy Potgieger, Director At Large

Keep in mind there is no VC chapter meeting in April.

The Virtual Chapter always has a need for New Member Callers and RejuVCnation Callers. Minimal time commitment and big return on being connected. Contact Lea Gallagher, Director of Membership, at [email protected]

Our next monthly meeting is March 9. I'm looking forward to hearing Casey Moore speak on "The Productivity Chain Assessment." Register here: https://napovc.com/.

Remember—to earn a CEU, you can join the monthly NAPO Virtual Chapter Book Club meeting facilitated by Denni Dattilio. You can register for the next Book Club meeting on our website www.NAPOVC.com. The next Book Club meeting is March 26 and the book is How To Say It to Seniors by David Solie.

Happy organizing, everyone!

Tech Talk

Selling Smartphones–for you or your clients

Glyde is an online site you can use to sell, buy, or trade in smartphones by Apple and Samsung. I have used this service to sell older iPhones from our team as well as to purchase newer models.

When selling a device, they provide instructions on how to wipe the phone, making it easy for those not super tech-savvy, plus they mail you a shipping box.

You will find purchasing a phone from Glyde will save you a significant amount of money and, if you are not satisfied, you can return it. You can also trade in your devices for cash or credit to use towards the purchase of another device.

This is a great way to help your clients clear out old devices lying around and get some cash at the same time.
